Artomyces is a genus of coral-like fungi in the family Auriscalpiaceae, distinguished by its pyxidate (box-like) or crown-like branch tips. Unlike many other coral fungi that grow on the ground, Artomyces species are typically wood-inhabiting saprotrophs. The genus was separated from Clavicorona based on morphological differences and molecular data, with the type species Artomyces pyxidatus being the most well-known and widely distributed member.
