Imleria is a genus of boletes in the family Boletaceae, erected in 2014 by Alfredo Vizzini and named after the Belgian mycologist Louis Imler. It contains the popular edible bay bolete, formerly known as Boletus badius or Xerocomus badius. A 2013 molecular study (Gelardi et al.) found that this species belonged in a genus of its own, outside Boletus and Xerocomus.
Characterized by a chestnut-brown to bay-brown cap that is velvety when young and often slightly sticky when moist. The pores are cream to pale yellow, aging greenish yellow and bruising dull blue to bluish grey. The stipe is paler than the cap, faintly streaked, and not netted except at the very apex.
