Magnolia-cone Mushroom
A tiny white mushroom that grows on fallen magnolia fruit clusters (follicles), which gives it its common name. The cap is white to yellowish and the thin stem turns yellow as it matures. It is one of several Strobilurus species that each specialize on the cones or fruits of particular trees.
No edibility information was found. It is far too small to be of any food value and should be treated as inedible.
