Plums and Custard
A conspicuous wood-decay mushroom with a yellow cap densely covered in reddish-purple fibrils and scales, and yellow gills. It grows on conifer stumps and logs. It has a mild to radish-like smell and has little food value.
Inedible: First Nature describes it as very bitter. Some older guides list it as edible but poor. Not recommended.
