Yellow American Blusher
An eastern North American blusher with a bright yellow to yellow-brown cap covered in felty yellow warts, and flesh that slowly stains reddish, especially in the stem base. It is mainly associated with oaks. Its edibility is not documented, and it is easily confused with other Amanitas.
Edibility unknown; do not eat. No reliable edibility data was found. It resembles the blusher (Amanita rubescens group), which is itself not recommended because of confusion with deadly Amanitas, and yellow Amanitas such as A. flavoconia.
