Yellow Unicorn Entoloma
A small, slender, bright yellow Entoloma with a conical cap that ends in a sharp, nipple-like point, which gives it its 'unicorn' names. It grows on the ground or in moss in wet forests of eastern North America and in the American tropics and Southeast Asia. Its yellow gills turn pinkish as the spores mature.
Not edible; possibly poisonous. Its edibility has not been established, and many Entoloma species cause gastrointestinal poisoning, so it should not be eaten.
