Golden Orange Tricholoma
A medium-sized orange Tricholoma with a slimy cap and a stem banded with orange-brown scales that stop below a pale zone at the top. It is ectomycorrhizal, mainly with conifers. The bitter, mealy flesh makes it of no culinary interest.
Inedible because of its bitter taste. Not a food species.
